iFreeStyle.ca’s Jack & Jill Competition is a “freestyle” dance competition where leaders and followers are randomly matched. Dancers switch partners throughout the competition.
Individuals are judged in the preliminary rounds and then as couples in later elimination rounds. Dancers are judged INDIVIDUALLY based on their ability to improvise a dance with different partners.
A leader and follower in each division will be chosen by the judges to win.
Divisions & Eligibility
1. Division 1 (Amateur) – Open to dancers who are NOT currently or have ever been part of a professional or semi-professional level performance or are paid instructors and assistant instructors. Participation in performance classes are ok for this division.
